The Supervised Residential Support Program is located in the Danbury area in a condominium setting and offers transitional, housing and supportive services to adults with a primary psychiatric disorder. The overarching goal of the program is to assist individuals to achieve stability, develop the adaptive living skills that are necessary to move to a more independent setting and to facilitate community inclusion. The supports provided include but are not limited to case management to work on individualized goals, psycho educational services to work on symptom management, assistance with daily living skills including medication monitoring, personal hygiene, housekeep, cooking and basic nutrition, recreation/community based opportunities and referrals for mental health and employment services. |
