In a unique collaboration between the East Hartford Housing Authority (EHHA) and Intercommunity, the Community Foundations' Independent Living Program offers a safe, high quality, recovery-focused, teaching environment for consumers who are struggling with chronic and severe mental illness and/or addiction disorders. Community Foundations serves a maximum of 17 clients in a rehabilitative home-based model with clear criteria for intake, participation, and graduation, so clients can successfully acquire the needed skills to meet their recovery goals. |
